Description:
Monty is a 16.3 hand Hanoverian gelding by Contucci born in April of 2005.
Dark Mahogany Bay with lots of chrome. Monty is the total package! He is a very
fancy gelding with a look at me attitude that gets the attention of the judges. Monty is
the modern type Hanoverian with a pretty head and outstanding confirmation. Three good gaits with a plus for the
canter and a lofty trot. His uphill build gives him great balance and maneuverability. Monty is a super athlete with
tremendous power and expression. He is a quick learner, currently schooling 3rd level and above with clean changes,
working pirouettes and good lateral work. Monty has been shown through 3rd level and he has proven he can
bring the ribbons home - mostly blue for victory and the highly desired High Point and Grand Champion awards!
He competed in the FEI 6 year old class scoring 73%! Definite talent for FEI to Grand Prix. Monty has been in full
FEI professional training with USDF Gold, SIlver, and Bronze medal winner Jill Hardt which has given him a very solid
foundation. He continues his training with USDF Gold, Silver, and Bronze medal winner Lesley Eden. Monty is well
suited for a junior young rider, adult amatuer as well as suited for a professional. He is good in all enviroments, loads,
clips, no vices. Monty has the pedigree, looks and attitude of a winner and he has a show record to prove it!
